Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

Zoeva is well-known for splendid and affordable make up brushes, but some time ago the brand extended their range and created a make up assortment, which includes the famous eyeshadow palettes. After using Zoeva brushes for a long time I decided it was about time to try more of their range. Today I give you a closer look to one of their eyeshadow palettes, the Cocoa Blend palette.

The packing of the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette is kept simple, but still considerable with the golden details and slim appearance. Talking about slim appearance, I have to mention that since I own this palette it is my constant travel buddy. It is super light und fits perfectly into my beauty case or I find a place for it in the suitcase because it takes away no space at all. There is nothing more annoying than heavy packaging for traveling. Different than other palettes this one comes without a mirror. But to be honest, this palette is way too big to be carried around in a handbag on the daily basis, so I think it is just fine that there is no mirror included.

Colors from left to right: Bitter Start, Sweeter End, Warm Notes, Subtle Blend, Beans Are White, Pure Ganache, Substitute For Love, Freshly Toasted, Infusion, Delicate Acidity

The palette has a lovely mix of matt and shimmery colours, some of them are also on the metallic side. The colour range is brilliant, in my opinion, absolutely suitable for every eye colour and due to the fact that the colours work great together you have lots of look opportunities. The brighter colours are greatly pigmented, buttery and very easy to blend. Unfortunately, Bitter Start and Sweeter End aren’t covering too much and hence the colours I love last, but I still use Bitter Start all over my lid as a “base”. I also substituted Sweeter End, namely as a highlighter. Warm Notes, Subtle Blend, Substitute For Love and Delicate Acidity actually made me buy this palette in the first place. I am obsessed with colours that suit my eye colour and particularly copper and purple suit green eyes a lot (works great on blue eyes as well). Infusion is mixed with small gold particle that fall out a bit, so if you don’t want to look like a glitter ball you should start with creating the eye make up first.

All in all, I am very pleased with the quality of the palette and my feelings for this palette are by all means positive. I think the colours are perfect to use through all seasons and for everyday as well. Are you also a big fan of eyeshadow palettes (or any other kind of palette!) and maybe use products from Zoeva as well?
